ARML 2023 – Old

The American Regions Mathematics League tournament was founded in 1976, and is one of the most prestigious math competitions in the USA. Each year, more than 100 teams from across the country and internationally gather together to participate in ARML.

The New Hampshire Math Team is recruiting 15 top high school math students from across the state to represent New Hampshire at this important event. This year, the competition returns to its traditional venue: Penn State University. The ARML is a full day of challenging math problems, with both individual and team rounds. There are also math themed presentations and activities planned.

Participation in ARML is a three day commitment. We will meet at Nashua High School South on Friday morning June 2. We will travel by minibus and arrive at Penn State Friday evening for registration and events. Lodging will be on campus in a Penn State dorm. The competition consists of Team, Power, Individual, and Relay rounds, which will last all day Saturday (with breaks). Saturday night we will have our celebration dinner and awards presentation. The Team leaves Penn State Sunday morning, arriving at Nashua Sunday June 4 late afternoon.
