Eleven young mathematicians from across New Hampshire gathered in Nashua for the 6th annual Summer Math Circle. The event ran for five days, from August 19 to August 24. In a fun, friendly, and lively environment, we investigated the following topics: Dice Polynomials, Magic Fractions, the Marble-O-Matic machine, Phinary Numbers, Ancient Calculators, and Martian Doctors. Then we finished up with a celebratory lunch at the Nashua Country Club, and Haywards ice cream.
The Math Circle will resume by Zoom, with weekly sessions at 7pm on Sunday. The first session will be Sunday September 15th. The registration email will go out sometime in the next week or so.
