This weekend, we will look at a mathematical problem that was first investigated by a group of math students at Cambridge University in the 1930s, called squaring the square. It produces some beautiful patterns, suitable for framing or possibly affixing to the refrigerator with a magnet. To participate, you will need:
Pencil / eraser
Access to a printer
An account for Mathigon (free to create with an email address)
OR
Graph paper (if you don’t have any, you can print this)
